Access to Athlone by Bus, Train and Car

By Bus: Bus Eireann has a coach service from Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport to Athlone. Visit www.buseireann.ie for more information. From Dublin Airport, Citylink offer comfortably hourly services – see www.citylink.ie

By Rail: Irish Rail is Ireland’s national train company and serves a direct train to Athlone from Dublin City and a changeover train from Limerick to Athlone. Please visit www.irishrail.ie for more information. Both airports have buses that travel to the Train Stations.

By Car: Both Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport have onsite facilities for car rental.
